This is a pretty-vague question. Perhaps if you asked more directly
about what you are interested in (or, in other words, why do you want
to know this), we'd be able to help more.

But to answer directly, on certain error conditions (such as a request
line that is too long) httpd will give up immediately on request
parsing and throw an error.
